The Magician of the Tarot Gives Insight about Finances

01_The_MagicianI drew this card the other day when asking for insight about finances:  The Magician.  The first thing I’ve always thought when this card shows up has to do with one creating one’s own reality. I’ve softened that over time and think of it as more having to do with how one chooses to experience one’s reality (or transcending reality!)  But it’s a balancing act since seeing life as magical even when one level of our mind would be telling us it apparently sucks!  Yeah, a real bummer–that is.

Sometimes I think of this card in terms of that phrase, “as above, so below”–and that always refers to astrology.  I mean just look at the card itself and how the magician is pointing to the sky with one hand and to the ground with the other.  Maybe this card means something like, “Don’t ask me, consult astrology for that answer!”  LOL

I don’t know what others would have to say about the card of the Magician coming up for a financial question–the authors of tarot books generally give good marks for finances when the card comes up in  a reading about money.  One author describing  The Magician gave this interpretation regarding finances–and I will have to paraphrase because I’m going from memory:  too much money or success can cover up, screw up or confuse one’s values.   That’s probably a good point to consider.

Financial concerns do seem to keep me on the higher path I suppose and when money is rolling in, that feeling of… well, lets say humility can suffer a bit.  I don’t know if these thoughts are valid insights to apply to The Magician card or maybe that’s just ‘me’.

The energy seems to need be be kept in balance–that’s another feeling-type insight that the card conveys to me personally.

As I contemplate this card further to squeeze every bit of divination out of it, I find that the card does seem to have a strong connection to my financial life. Financial results do come as a result of what we’d call “confident prayer” or on a weaker day as a result of sending out an S.O.S. because the rent is coming due and funds are low.  Usually I can connect incoming numbers with a recent prayer, invocation or sometimes just being generous to others does it—creates some meaningful financial magic.

I really do see the financial ups and downs as a significant and intricate part of my spiritual path.  I suppose I can make peace with the fact that if I was rolling in greenbacks that it may stroke too much ego or confuse my values–yet, I think my values are pretty strong; but I still get the point.

I don’t ask for more than I need usually and find my desires are usually met and then some (I’d like it all to work a bit faster but then again it would seem less magical when my financial needs are met and exceeded in significant timing).  That may be because usually when I set my mind and  heart onto the task (as in the image on the card of the magician who has all his ‘tools’ at the ready), there’s one thing I always add to my intention and that is “This or something more or better” .  Why limit one’s self or The Divine– ?

Probably so much more one could say about The Magician and Finances but time for the next appointment….

ADDENDUM:  Oh, and as far as the Magician saying, “What the heck do I know?–go check your astrology chart”, at the present time Transiting Venus is merged with (conjunct) Transiting Jupiter–both planets have money associations (archetype meanings).  Venus rules the 2nd house of money and Jupiter makes everything lucky and expansive.  Venus kisses Jupiter (as above, so below) and shazam!  It might just be a good day to play the lotto!  Just sayen’.

Handeling Procrastination Tendencies – Tarot Oracle Wisdom and Inspiration from The Magician – Is it a MARS Thing?

Yeah, I’m doing it – no doubt about it! Procrastination! Dude! Maybe it’s a Mars thing—Mars is stationing as it moves ahead direct, pulling us in a new direction. Maybe that’s IT – blame Mars!  I’m nearly at the final mile in my closet projects—close to the finish line and I am resisting the big finish! WHY is that? And what do we do about procrastination tendencies? Why do we do it? Likely the i-ching would give us a deeper answer but I’m going to pull a tarot card instead and the whole time I typed the first half of this sentence, I was mentally reminding myself (at the same time) that I have bills to pay and a bank statement to reconcile. Ugh! Yeah, and here it comes… more. There’s outdoor projects awaiting too; yet here I am at the keyboard with the coffee. Maybe a little clarity will help—thus, let’s shuffle and draw a card!

As I grab for the cards, I think of my brother—you know something? I haven’t heard from him since last we heard that he was returning with the body of his wife to the village where she was born for the purpose of further burial ceremony. She was a native Alaskan… American Indian; but then most Alaskans’ are and the rest are white who exploit (the funeral home in Anchorage certainly did!) or serve unless they are “THE CORPORATION”. From the layman’s perspective and not knowing much about the culture and observing from way outside, I think all of the talk of “The [mighty] Corporation” may have to do with gas or oil or other exploitive conglomerates. Anyway, one of my other family members said that the tribe she’s from is Inuit but this is wrong and her own family told us (via the grapevine which is apparently how all information in the tribe is disseminated) the tribe is Athabascan which later became Navajo and Apache as they migrated south. Sometimes Athab [p]ascan spelled with a P instead of a B and is pronounced that way. They are very scorpion-ic (Scorpio like) similar to the native local’s around here i.e. private and secretive and suspicious of outsiders. Anyway, while I’d like to project/blame my procrastination on my brothers incommunicado—that’d be wrong.

Let me shuffle the cards and see what the tarot oracle may say about my delay tactics and feelings of procrastination today and meanwhile maybe there’s some wisdom to come for you too on those days when you are putting things off.

Another sip of coffee. Shuffle. Well, well, well. What do you know? It’s THE MAGICIAN. Okay, got it; it’s going to be a ‘personal power’ message that we get from the tarot oracle on this. Whenever I look at this card, it makes me think of (forgive me) but witchcraft – you know? Calling on the elements of the North, South, East and West and drawing down the Moon and that kind of thing. It is totally about focusing one’s energy too but it is about calling on help from the forces that be in order to do that. Okay, so much for my initial impressions. What I’ve gotten for myself so far is that in order to get across the finish line with those projects it is important to envision the outcome—use the mind’s eye. That’s what the magician is doing. All we need to stop procrastinating is a little “magic”.

Suddenly I think of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and that scene where the apprentice puts the brooms and mops to work and then falls asleep only to find he’s created chaos. Anyway, magic. That’s what we need and in order to have it, we call on the big guns. Well, if you’re not a witch or a magician, then what? How about just envisioning the outcome, focusing on the vision and a prayer or two or if that’s not your cup of tea—an affirmation or mantra. How about something like, “I’ve completed my work and it feels so great to have it done.”

The Magician is about creativity and imagination – seeking creative solutions. Visualizations helps with that. And it’s also about the strength of ‘will’….like I said, personal power. “I will do it dammit!” Well, you get what I mean, right? In a way, it’s like the Strength card and also the Chariot but let’s not get lost in more detail—that only puts things off even further. The Magician is assuring us that we have everything we need to get the job done; we just have to focus our desire and will. And most importantly we need the enthusiasm to make things happen—like I said… we just need a little magic. And how does that occur?

Well, how does anything at all occur? Anything that happens in the outer world happens first in the inner world—in the mind! Like I said…. visualization. And earth energy—maybe another cup of coffee or forgive me but maybe something like a 5 hour energy drink (I never had one but saw a commercial the other day) and then there’s always ginseng or ginseng tea.

(pause)

Well, maybe THAT [pause] was in divine timing! I had a call into my daughters and just got a call back. I’d wanted to know how they did in the race this morning—one of my girls and my grandson ran a half-marathon (13 miles) this morning! They’d been training since winter for that. Talk about being inspired… running for 2 hours + straight! Really? And I am being a wimp about finishing my little ole’ minor projects around here! That pretty much does it! I’m good now. What just happened was a total MAGICIAN moment – inspiration!

My two inspiring MAGICIANS!

The MAGICIAN is about holding your position in time and space and remaining in that flow. If they can do a half-marathon, I can certainly plant a few bushes, finish sorting through a few clothes, balance my checkbook and pay a few bills! Let’s master those elements!

ADDENDUM or FINAL THOUGHT:  In my conversation with my daughters, we talked about the finish line and her sisters said that she nearly turned the wrong way near the finish line.

HO!  do I remember how that goes!!  I ran a 12 mile race once;  they ran 13 miles today… anyway, I remember how people will yell out how much farther to the finish… and how it always seems soooooooooooooo much longer!

One race that I recall in particular in which we were told only a quarter of a mile to go… there was a hair pin turn to the left to get to the finish line but when you’re at the end you know you are looking for it and it just seemed to be the longest 1/4 mile I’d ever run!  If you can ‘see’ that finish line, it helps!

My daughter and grandson got to the finish line this morning after running for longer than 2 hours straight–and so will I in my own little way!  C’mon!  WE CAN DO IT.  One step at  time; let’s GO!

Daily Divination 8-26-11 Doing the Work of Soul Evolution – I CHING Kua 18 with Astrology and Tarot Correlations

IMHO a mistake or error that some “new age” spiritual thought systems or philosophical systems make has to do with denying emotion.  Attempts to “white light” and escape from areas of the psyche (soul) or consciousness without going ‘into’ deep feelings or old wounds to determine their core prevents evolutionary growth by skipping over or omitting examination of one’s role in emotional dynamics.  Many wish to wave their wand of light and “not go there”, preferring to escape or avoid the necessary work that supports growth and evolution.  Take, for example, a situation of a tumultuous or difficult relationship—perhaps even one in which some type of abuse took place.  Without going deeply into the dynamics of that relationship at some point, one avoids seeing how one may have contributed to the problem or the difficult dynamic. Essentially, we escape into the Light when we drop our body and cross to the other side; yet, we realize that we did not really “get it” and then come back again to go back into it so that we can see what needs to be healed, repaired or cleaned up or repaired within our own self.  When we say things like “let me stay in the light and not deal with dark feelings”, many times we defeat the purpose of being here—growth and evolution.  We have to “go there” in order to be able to recognize our own patterns and to repair them.

Today’s cosmic communiqué is inspired by Kua 18 of the I CHING called “Correcting Deficiencies” or “Work That Has Been Spoiled”.

We must first understand the cause of our suffering before we can do away with them and without going deeply into that area and examining it, we cannot ever know.  Without knowing and understanding, release cannot happen.  Negative emotions are not to be feared – they are to be understood and traced back to their source so that they can be corrected, re-worked, understood, repaired, restored, cleared up, so that we are in future able to respond differently, living a life in which old wounds are healed and balanced.

Old beliefs that we hold about victimization or neediness and the like have an opportunity to come to light and be corrected and that is why we’re here but we cannot make those corrections if we are unwilling to look/examine or if we are focused on spaceship brothers/sisters coming to “save us” or some sort of ascension scenario whisking us off to some heaven in the sky. No matter where we go in the cosmos, we take the same consciousness; there’s no real escape without the clean-up and correction work.

Behavior patterns that come from patterns of thinking that do not benefit us create problems lifetime after lifetime until we have enough courage and determination to feel and recognize the pain or negative emotion, go into it and make the necessary adjustment or correction.  The deep soul-searching and psychological uncovering reveals what requires attention so that we can live in The Light; yet, so many run away from this work.

As Ma Deva Padma says, “If you put your dinner leftovers in the fridge where you don’t see them for days on end, eventually they start to grow moldy and stink.  The same thing happens with mistakes and difficulties that we refuse to deal with.  We can pretend we don’t know about them, or disguise them with fragrance.”  But all our mistakes and difficulties are learning experiences and while it is easier to assume we are victim rather than examining our role, we avoid facing reality and only delay the moment of truth in which we must become honest with ourselves.

Looking within the self without denial or embellishment to see what part we have played is of utmost importance; otherwise, nothing changes and patterns repeat.

BOTTOM LINE:  Past problems and issues should be examined so that future progress is not hindered.  Don’t deny emotions; allow them and trace them back to their source and make necessary corrections to erroneous or victimization-type thinking

Daily Divination 8-24-11 Today, Grace, Beauty and Feeling At Home with One’s Self and One’s World – I-CHIG Kua 22, Grace with Astrological and Tarot Archetype Correlations

Today, the message is to radiate a sense of well-being and an attitude that says, “I feel at home with myself and with the world.” This is our birthright and the epitome of who we are at the deepest level. I’m back from the family reunion – and a good time was had by all. Today’s cosmic communiqué is inspired by the I-CHING Kua 22, called GRACE or OUTER REFINEMENT. It is about “keeping still” and “success” that comes from grace on earth. We could add that grace brings success if we can have the stillness of the mountain as our core today. Grace is the connection between The Divine Creator or the Tao and humankind. Today we are being asked to see the beauty of our inner essence despite judgments about our outer appearances or the appearances of others. Watch for inner creative impulses today and allow them to flower from the stillness.

We are being asked to remember that beauty in the outer world is always transient—it is born and then fades to be born again. We see this everywhere in nature (flowers, trees, etc.)

When we try to grasp or possess a flower, we accelerate its demise but if we can manage to eliminate the desire to grasp or possess, the experience of grace becomes a joy in our life today.

Greet beauty when it shows up today and become one with it without demands or expectations, remembering all that is upon this earth is transient and in a process of dying to be reborn.

Let Mother Nature be your teacher today and appreciate beauty and love in whatever way it shows up for you. Merge with it instead of trying to possess or control it and keep still and smile.

PS – enhance your ‘inner’ beauty

Daily Divination 8-2-11 Prosperity and Radiance! Are You in The Flow? I CHING KUA 14 with Tarot and Astrology Archetype Correlations

Using resources wisely—ask Washington DC about that! Today’s message is about PROSPERITY inspired by the I-CHING Kua 14. Prosperity has radiance; it is a grace, an energy, which can be used with positive or negative effects. The energy of money can be either nourishing and supportive or small-minded and self-indulgent. Boy O boy! Don’t we see THAT debate being played out in Washington right now?

The I-CHING wisdom states that  fortune smiles upon us when our vision and plans are in harmony with the flow of the Universe. I think the important word in that last sentence is “flow”. Fears about not having enough always stop that flow—trust me on this one! It’s one of my life lessons! (My natal North Node is in Taurus in the 10th.)

When we have ideals that are in harmony with a compassionate and “flowing” universe, the resources are available to us. Miserliness and greed don’t seem to be part of natural law and the flow of the TAO.

On the other hand, we know that with abundance comes the responsibility of being good a caretaker of resources—acting modestly but not selfishly seems like good common sense. The question is whether or not we act in accordance with what is the highest and best within us. What attitude is in honor and in integrity? It involves compassion and sharing what we have with others when the opportunity presents itself.

The current debates in our country (United States) and throughout the world about finances and the economy bring forth an opportunity to examine our own feelings about finances, wealth, personal economic issues.

Today’s message brings forth the suggestion to examine our own attitudes about finances, prosperity and wealth and our relationship to others where money is concerned.

Relaxing one’s fearful attitudes and maintaining a hopeful and relaxed mind while neither hoarding nor being greedy helps us to stay in the flow that supports prosperity.

Today, the message is to take heart and know that we are all abundantly blessed and with that inward inspiration, outward manifestation becomes apparent. Is this a truth that you are living?

Daily Divination 7-29-11 Dispersion; Know Thyself; Enlightenment and Lighten Up with a Smile – I-CHING Kua 59 with Astrology and Tarot Keywords

A man who has not passed through the inferno of his passions has never overcome them.

–Carl Jung

Denying one’s own feelings and thoughts is no way to create unity with one’s spirit or have a reunion with higher self. This is similar to shutting down and disconnecting. Is every feeling and thought we have going to be saintly or light-filled? And is it supposed to be? Look around. If we’re human living on planet Earth, probably not every thought and emotion is saint-like; but to suppress or deny what we think or feel is tantamount to separating from ourselves. It also creates a state of living in denial—a false world, an illusion. The religious fundamentals will try to tell us we should only have “pretty thoughts” and anything short is some sort of dirty angel or devil at work or there’s something wrong with us. Yes, there it is, they’d say, we are all imperfect sinners and then they spew their whoopla, which is usually what their preacher told them to say while out evangelizing.

But back to the conditioning that indoctrinates us into an idea that we must always be a particular way—a way in which we deny our own soul. That’s the start of the delusion which left unchecked can lead to a superiority complex or fundamentalism that is dangerous. If we bypass the opportunity for self-reflection that self-acceptance of our thoughts, feelings and tendencies can provide, we close the door to our own self-improvement and evolution and move into the fanaticism realms of life.

When we have a feeling or thought (pretty or not) that comes up, and we allow ourselves to examine it, trace it back to where it began, we can take our first step to healing and true self-improvement (and empowerment)—not suppression or repression.

Whatever is repressed becomes distorted.

I’ve been thinking about all of this today and it wasn’t until now, early evening, that I’ve had the opportunity to do an I-CHING draw. Its Kua 59 called “Dispersion”. It is about dissolving and disintegrating energy through uniting with it and understanding it for the purpose of restoring harmony. Ho! And that’s exactly what I’ve been contemplating today.  My Moon is transiting my 12th House today closely approaching my Mars/Pluto/Saturn stellium — translation:  my mood is very deep and esoteric.  I’m having to dig deeply to attend to this blogging task because almost all of me wants to withdraw, escape and disappear.  🙂  THINK TAROT:  The Hermit.   Moving right along  anyhow….

A  few things came to mind as I typed those last sentences in that paragraph above. One has to do with a smile and the other with some wisdom from Carl Jung who said that we don’t reach enlightenment by envisioning beings of light but rather by bringing light into dark places. That light or knowledge-of-self is able to enlighten; but one has to be fearless and willing to look deeply into one’s self. Yeah, and into those dark places—fearlessly. And when I write the word “dark”, it refers to the places of ignorance or unconscious-ness that self-knowledge can lighten — shed light upon.

That seems to epitomize (to me anyway) the meaning of today’s message inspired from Kua 59/Dispersion. One could say to disperse rather than to repress. To repress is to live a life of delusion; one risks living a distorted life which comes about through an unwillingness to allow and understand one’s own feelings and thoughts in favor of playing a people-pleasing role in order to be accepted.

It makes me think of the planet Mars and the sign it rules, Aries, which is impulsive energy; it learns from its reactions. That archetypical energy evolves through understanding its reactivity. If we don’t allow ourselves to have a reaction and then examine it, how can we possibly ever… ? Well, think of it as the doorway into the unconscious–to the soul.  That’s the message from and the lesson of Mars/Aries.

I’m not supporting a wild idea that we all run around taking everyone’s head off; I’m only suggesting that we not beat ourselves up if we allow the thought or feeling room enough to surface so that we can examine it and learn from it. Besides, sometimes we just need the release—it’s not all that unhealthy once in a while after all.

Another part of this idea of dispersion has to do with lightening up and that’s where that smile that I was thinking of a moment ago comes into play with today’s message. Here’s what I mean and by the way I’m talking about a smile that is sincere, not one stemming from smugness or one that has grown out of a distorted reality or feelings of superiority. I’m talking about one of those ‘home-grown’, down-to-earth, true-to-life types of “I know who you are and I know who I am and I love us both” kind-of-smiles that has nothing whatsoever to do with ego.

Talk about dispersion! When you’ve received one of those smiles from another, you know it and lighten up immediately. This Kua is about lightening up as well as dispersion. The unity of a smile can restore harmony, dissolve divisions and revitalize you, can’t it? How many smiles like that have you given and received lately? Many, I hope! Keep up the good work says Kua 59 of the I-CHING and stay true to that energy within you and others!

That kind of smile comes out of us spontaneously when we know who we are; but we will never know unless we allow ourselves to understand our thoughts, feelings and reactions—something we can’t do unless we allow them. That’s how we grow and evolve and it’s why we’re here in the first place—at least this is my truth for today.  Know Thyself!

Daily Divination 7-23-11 The Greatest Question of Your Life! And Delay is Humbling; I-CHING Kua 9 – Leo, Virgo, Cancer, Magician, The Hermit, Strength, Justice, The Emperor, Judgment

Sometimes we are held back, but with good reason. We either believe that we live in a Universe that is benevolent in which All is working in our favor (no matter how it looks) –OR we don’t.

It was Einstein who said that this is one of the greatest questions of our life. “Albert Einstein once commented that the most fundamental question we can ever ask ourselves is whether or not the universe we live in is friendly or hostile. He hypothesized that your answer to that question would determine your destiny.”

The cosmic communiqué for today is to look at areas of your life where you may feel that you are being blocked—realize that it is only for a short time and this mild restraint is purposeful.

It’s happened in my life too many times to count—and yours too if you’re observant and honest about it. We can all look back and recall times when we experienced life holding us back from advancement—and thank goodness for those times or we’d have made a dire mistake. It all goes back to the Einstein point above—you either trust the universe or you don’t.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control….” – you know that phrase, right? That sort of epitomizes the source from which today’s message is inspired—Kua 9 of the I-CHING. The various names for this Kua give more detail: “The Taming Power of the Small”; “Humble Strength”; “Gentle Restraint, Holding Back”.

BOTTOM LINE: The bottom line message today is that the moment for action on a large-scale has not yet arrived.

Here’s an example. You know those times when the clouds in the sky turn grey and the wind starts to pick up and all indications are that it’s going to rain–but then it doesn’t? Like that! It will rain eventually and while the potential is there, it’s (for reasons beyond our control) being held back. It looks like it should rain, but no rain—and if you wanted the rain to occur; it can be a bit frustrating and disappointing that it never rains a drop. But then the bottom falls out and it pours—later! Of course, we could flip that example—days of rain and the Sun tries to come up and doesn’t for days on end–and then and then suddenly the rain stops, the clouds go away and there’s the Sun brighter than ever.

It’s at these times that I like to remember a line made known by Byron Katie, “It wasn’t ‘supposed to’ rain. How do we know? Because it didn’t!” And that brings us round again to Einstein’s greatest question whose answer determines your experience.

Sometimes we want to make a big change and “things happen” causing all of our efforts to get us nowhere—that’s simply life. What’s the advice for these times?

You cannot ‘push the river’ or cannot ‘make it rain’—practice watching events unfold with dispassion and with passive alertness.

Carry on without being overly attached to particular outcomes—reinforce a core belief that the universe is ultimately working in your favor.

Life is giving us an opportunity in those times to explore our humility and trust. The image on the card above contains a spider from which we can take a lesson. She works tiredly to prepare her web without anyone noticing. Many times her work becomes damaged—the web becomes torn. She simply tends to the repairs as soon as the notices. She doesn’t seek attention and she works quietly and efficiently blending into her surroundings—and when she’s done she waits.

That whole spider and web thing reminds me of my first website. We often hear the phrase made famous in the movies, “If you build it, they will come.” That’s true but not until google’s spiders pick up the site and list and link it! If you’ve ever created a website, you know the feeling of having worked tirelessly on a website and then publishing it and it’s a while before anything really happens traffic-wise. Maybe it’s different these days, but that’s how it was when I created my first website. Anyway, that’s just another example of today’s message—don’t let minor impediments get you down!

Daily Divination 7-19-11 Progress! It’s going to get better; success is assured – Kua 53 Development; Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sag, The Magician, The Hermit, Judgment, Hierophant, Temperance, High Priestess

I CHING Kua 53 has to do with DEVELOPMENT, gradual progress, slowly but surely or as my grandmother used to say, “little by little”. Another one we often hear is “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.

This is the second time I’ve received a message about progress; the last time it was “progress over the next few months”. Today, the message has to do with success being assured.

Where or how do these messages apply to you in your own life? The answer applies to your own question around life conditions.

I think economically when I think of this message; the condition of our economy in the United States is of grave concern to many.

My prediction, if you want to call it that is that things will get better and success will be achieved. Yet, there is a caveat and that has to do with the message of this Kua today and the associated Tarot and Astrology correlations.

Essentially on must keep one’s attention in the present moment and avoid dreaming about future. The reason being, the more we can stay with “what is”, the less likely it will be that we will be thrown off-balance by the unexpected. We must all keep our cool despite current delays or setbacks.

We cannot throw up our hands and say, “I quit” because we need this time as a vital learning experience. We must accept current challenges and not lose ourselves in a future that is not yet manifest.

Today the message is to be willing to look truth of the moment straight in the eye and feel supported rather than fearful.

I can’t help but think of the word “psychic” whenever I see the word “development”. Development is the name of this I CHING Kua… actually, some books call it “Gradual Development”.

Things that develop slowly become more strong and enduring—perseverance and determined effort is required. Yet, too much determination can sometimes be detrimental—it is rather a matter of uniting with energy and dancing gently with it.

While it is an easy energy or gentle energy merging that I’m referring to, and while it is important to be in the now with it and not compare it with past or future, it does require focus to detail. Yet, the idea is not to hurry or force.

Progress comes from giving attention in the moment to detail but without undue pressure or stress. This is much like it is when speaking with spirit guides or communication from the other side as part of psychic development.

The key phrase today is like air over mountain (the elements of this Kua), gradual progress. It is gradual so that details can be perfected and so patience is required now.

It makes me think about walking or biking through an area rather than driving in a car. I used to drive to work and then began jogging to work instead for a while being amazed at all the small details of the area I missed while driving. It’s like that—there is much more to be seen and integrated when working at a slower and more detailed pace.

The Astrological Correlations of Kua 53/Development are:

Leo – putting one’s “heart” into it; creative actualization; self-expression; and the opposites… giving power outside of self; seeking outer world acknowledgments

Virgo – details

Scorpio – getting to the bottom of the matter; the heart of the matter; coming face to face with limitation; commitment

Sagittarius – optimism; seeing the cup half full; keeping one’s sense of humor

The Tarot Correlations of Kua 53/Development are:

The Magician – creative actualization and transmutation; moving inward for inspiration

The Hermit – Inner seeking; truth within self and not the outside world

Judgment – flowing consciousness; uniting with a higher power; struggle has been over ____, and the heart won so a new day is begun

Hierophant – the inner teacher; inherent talent; tenacity; practical application of wisdom; meaningful ritual

Temperance – patience; 6th chakra opening; blending of opposites; moderation

High Priestess – unity of all things; answers within; paying attention to the cycles of life; letting go of tension and nervousness

Hopefully, the bits of astrology and tarot above have solidified or added to the meaning of today’s divination message from Kua 53 of the I CHING.  As I always say, no matter what day or time you read this blog post, with the understanding of simultaneous divine timing, it applies to your now moment.

See you tomorrow…
