Aspiring to the goal of Spiritual Happiness and Wisdom

Some of us aspire to this.  We understand this as the goal, the intention.  And that is the absence of the goal or intention.  Sounds like a Zen riddle.  Pretty much is I suppose. Seeking NO fulfillment!

Recognizing the vain irrelevancy involved in seeking fulfillment, yet finding it everywhere as we giving up endeavors to acquire it.

Un-petrified, un-paralyzed, un-phased and un-dazed–more than comfortable to stand alone and become eccentric in a spiritual and otherworldly way.

Knowing fully that it is the path itself and not fulfillment of outer world desire that makes the magic.

Understanding reality for its nature and finding spiritual happiness–some of us value this.

As this value is perceived, adversity faced in the outer world holds less meaning than in the past.

Friends  disappear but those that remain are high quality spiritual brethren.  (non-religious)

Both traveling and staying at home are one and the same–aspiring to live this particular wisdom leading to spiritual happiness!

Some of us yearn for this if we do yearn at all, but we do not seek it.

Separating Self from Race Consciousness, a Meditation on Happiness

guitar in water imageI hope the guy downstairs doesn’t read my blog–chances are he doesn’t.  He sings you see.  And apparently he loves it because he does it often with his guitar accompaniment.  I love swimming and do that regularly too.  We both have a passion.  I don’t swim very well if I compare myself to many of the other swimmers–especially the triathlete types but I can’t not swim anymore than the guy downstairs can ‘not’ sing and play his guitar.

When you enjoy doing something, you simply must do it or unhappiness sets in.  I’m happy after my swim and I’d bet if we asked the guy downstairs that he’d say he’s happy when he sings and even when he isn’t singing, the song sustains him like my swim sustains me in between workouts.

Sometimes you do things simply for the joy of it and you don’t necessarily want to make a career of it.  Sometimes you ‘do’ make a career of it–some do, some don’t.  Everybody’s motivation is different.

I’m not trying to enter a triathlon and if you saw me in my bathing suit you’d see how far from that I was  anyway; it’s not my goal.  My goal for swimming is different than the guy in the next lane over–it’s an exercise in mindfulness for one thing.  Oh, there are other reasons why I swim too—I really love the water.

It separates me from race consciousness–from society, from the 3rd dimensional world.  Why? Its a present moment, time-altering thing.  Its my own path, my own inner truth.

Swim your swim, sing your song—

“Sing, sing your song and don’t worry if it’s not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing.  Sing your song!”  Or swim your swim!  Got to go now, the pool is calling to me and I’m missing the water!

Daily Divination April 18, 2011 Clarity of Purpose Staying True to Your Path with King of Swords Integrity

Determine what you want, pursue it with integrity, remain civil

If you know where you’re going, it’s easier to get there.

Begin with the end in mind. You can do it!

Clarity of Purpose; knowing exactly what you are doing and being sure of your path–that’s the theme for today’s cosmic broadcast.  It’s okay if you’re not completely clear, there are those who can help; you can turn to associates or other knowledgable people who can be the “king of swords” for you today.

The universe will handle the details if you back up your own plan within your own mind being certain what it is that you want.

It’s true that sometimes we have to do the ‘not this, not that’ before we’re clear or we gather information and in the process of that gathering, clarity begins to form.

Even if what we know we must do will have effects upon others, still we must do it once we’re clear about what that is; but, we don’t have to trample on others in that process.  It can be tricky especially if you’re the wishy-washy type and give up your rights too easily. The tendency is to go 100% in the opposite direction and be vindictive when you finally do stand up for yourself.  As always, with everything–balance and the middle path is best for all concerned!

Let’s say, you know the direction, the path, and the outcome you desire regarding a major issue in your life right now but you’re not exactly sure how you’re going to pull it off yet; just be okay with that for now and stay committed to your direction or goal.

Don’t give up or turn back but don’t be overly righteous either—kindness and consideration for others (even if your judgment is that they don’t deserve it) is always best for all concerened.

An inner emotional attitude that is at least not spiteful or vindictive is best for you and for all concerned—that way you won’t feel bad about yourself later and will not be creating  karma.

Keep to your path with an apex or height of integrity while you clearly speak your truth and intentions.  Stay clear!

And if you must judge something today; be an impartial judge of your own life, not another’s.   Keep an atmosphere of reason, honesty and high standards yourself. And if you have a choice of whom to work with, connect with those who hold the same standards.

Be firm, be clear but there’s no need to whack anyone with that sword either.  Today’s the day to continue to work toward true clarity of purpose and committment to your path.
