This week’s Main Players: Mars conjunct Saturn and Mercury conjunct Jupiter
Mars conjunct Saturn August 22 – 26, 2016
Youth/Mars and Adult/Saturn. This is back to school time in most places and the skies align with the sign of impulsive, immature Mars meeting closely with stable, mature Saturn. Both signs are in Sagittarius which is generally thought to be the sign related to optimism, growth and also education. As above, so below. It seems pretty clear to me! We would all sense the effect of this transit through the first 7 to 10 days of September.
Generally, we would all, in some way, likely be considering some new philosophy or belief (Sag) and some way to apply it to some new discipline or work (Saturn). It may feel exciting and we may feel great passion about it (Mars).
In every sense, this is a positive aspect, unless you have been much too unruly and out of control–the “Lord of Karma” i.e. Saturn will be implementing the law of cause and effect. You will receive what you deserve one way or another.
Sustained growth through patient endeavors — that’s one theme for the week! If you are able to Continue reading →
What is the purpose or benefit of knowing the houses in astrology and which house your Moon is in at any given time of the month? Divination and Divine Timing — to know astrology is to have a handle on that, as least to some extent. Yes, the Moon moves quickly and goes through each house once a month. What is a house? It’s an area of life. And the Moon relates to our sense of happiness, feelings of security. If we work in harmony with astrology, we know ourselves and what times of the month are typical for particular feelings to surface or to be more prominent or prevalent than other times. Why not work with that knowledge—be in cooperation with the natural energy of the Moon and the Psyche and Life Itself?
Examples? Why try to deal with money issues when the Moon is in your 11th house? You natural inclination would be to perhaps visit with friends or do other 11th house things. Suppose you have a health issue and you want to know what day this month would be good to make the doctor appointment? When the Moon transits the 6 house would be typically the best time because the emotional/feeling nature will be in harmony with that.
I found this system valid for myself when beginning to notice one time of the month—every month—when I wanted to just disappear and not speak to anyone! Whenever this happened, this feeling, I’d look to see where the Moon was. Each and every time it was in my 12th house. Yeah, I began to see a pattern. So why not work with it more consciously? Thus, my reason for these posts on the Moon’s monthly transits through the houses!
Now that the method behind this madness has been revisited, my 2nd and 3rd house have recently had a visit from the transiting Moon.
We look first of all to the archetype of the house itself. The 2nd house (ruled by Venus and Taurus) relates to money, what is valued, self-worth, self-reliance and the 3rd house (ruled by Mercury and Gemini) relates to communication, conversation, left brain activity, thinking, business, short trips, correspondence, neighbors and siblings.
As mentioned in the previous post about the 1st House, there are other influences affecting how that Moon is going to express—namely, the other planets and signs in your particular house and aspects the Moon may be making to other planets in the chart. But let’s stick with the basics for the purpose of this blog post.
MOON TRANSIT OF THE 2ND HOUSE
When the Moon transits through your 2nd house, it’s a good time to pay attention to money concerns and where you stand with your monthly budget. If you deal with that, you will find it to be very satisfying and boost your feelings of security. This is a good time to come up with ideas to bring in extra cash as well—the Moon’s energy will naturally be focusing your psyche in this area anyway, so go with it.
A 2nd house lunar transit is a good time to review why you are worthy and contemplate what it is you really value and how you offer value to the world—this type of pep talk will enhance your feelings of security and happiness.
Review your resources, think of all the opportunities you have to provide for your self and how you are doing so; this, too, will help your mood. Remind yourself how you have proven yourself ‘to’ yourself, no matter what others may think. Think of everything you have achieved and then pay your bills knowing whatever you send out returns to you multiplied—make this the mantra.
Personal Note: When the Moon moved through my 2nd house a few days ago, I looked at my own money situation and this is something that is always on the mind anyway. Why? Because my BIRTH MOON is in my 2nd house so this is a life-long consideration for me. My work was busy on the 2nd day that the Moon moved through my 2nd house money came to me from another source as well.
MOON TRANSIT OF THE 3RD HOUSE
What makes you happy at this time? What brings you feelings of security and comfort? Well, it has to do with learning something, teaching something and speaking, finding the voice somehow. You may be sensitive to tones in other people’s voices at this time and the tone of your own voice may be very self-revealing when Luna visits your 3rd house. Your curiosity could be high and you may find that Google is your best friend and your mood would promote research of some kind—data collection. Those things could be very satisfying and the Moon energy would encourage that. Speaking up for yourself, saying what’s on your mind—this too would be comforting for you. This is the time of the month to do it—it will feel great to say it like it is!
You may feel inclined to make phone calls and answer Emails and connections with neighbors or siblings would be gratifying at this time.
Personal Note: My curiosity involved something more or less physical—I wondered if I could start jogging but the Moon was right on top of Mars and it activated my inner warrior who wanted to “Run, Forrest, Run”. [Quote from movie: Forrest Gump/Tom Hanks] Also, I did communicate via Email at length with several students. I’ll also mention that I did receive more than usual amount of Emails from people asking about the psychic class. Also, I felt very drawn to go to the library several times as the Luna ran through my 3rd house, but just never made it there. If I had, I’d have really enjoyed it or the Moon would have supported that emotionally. Then again, I’m always happy at the Library. A reason for that is that my birth Mercury, ruler of the 3rd is IN the 3rd–so library ‘stuff’ is strong with me anyway, all the time. See how this works?
I hope my sharing my own lunar transits are helpful to the reader and that my posts of the Moon’s monthly movement through the houses are helpful and have piqued the reader’s interest in the valuable subject of astrology.
It is, in my opinion, such a valuable thing to know to aid in self-understanding but also in understanding others and working in harmony with them.
The Moon is currently in my 4th house for the next day or so… but that’s for the next blog post. Yay! I’ve now caught up with my own Moon!
MARS IS SEXTILE PLUTO….feels a little bit like the universe (in my version anyway) is holding it’s breath … like a long pause or something… so i turn to astrology to see what’s up and Mars is making a sextile to Pluto.
Keywords: Mar/action Pluto/transformation
But keywords never tell the whole story. Mars represents the ‘conscious’ desires of the Soul... what we’re aware that we desire.
And Pluto? Well, it’s retrograde. That can relate to a very narrow focus in the soul. We can see how our conscious desires easily (sextile) stimulate our soul in some way. Can be confusing if you don’t know what you want–and around that desire, Pluto demands sacrifice.
What are you willing to sacrifice to fulfill the conscious desires?
This interpretation works for my own life right now. Maybe the feeling of the long pause, holding of the breath, is because many other souls are also trying to work this out–the desire, the sacrifice that is demanded to fulfill it.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY we have the very practical and conservative CAPRICORN where Pluto is currently living and very emotional MARS… fire planet in a water sign, Scorpio.
Emotional intense and impulsive Mars in Scorpio has a desire and its pretty easy to see the possibility of how Pluto is pointing out the realities of that desire; possibly saying GET REAL MARS… your desire is not practical. Yes, transformation is in order, but be realistic.
This aspect is asking us to be clear about our objectives. Any action taken now could result in permanent and far reaching change. Therefore, Intense emotion must be balanced with practicality at least for now.
Both mars and Pluto are making an exact sextile today at 11° and the energy will be within the orb of intensity for the next 3 days or so…. now through the weekend this energy may be quite prominent in the psyche’.
ADDENDUM: a further look at my transit chart shows the current Sun right on/crossing over my Ascendant and with Sun ruling my chart (27° Leo rising), maybe that’s the feeling of the universe holding it’s breath… and now i go to celebrate a happy un-birthday today!
PS– if you have any insight about how you personally experienced a Sun over your Ascendant (happens once a year!) that you’d like to share, please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here’s a little interesting article on the Sun transits to AC, IC, DC and MC points that I just came across in the Mountain Astrologer:
A little earlier today, my sister asks me if this is a Mercury retrograde (things going wrong at work).
Mercury stations in 3 days…. no movement on Saturday when Mercury stations retro… communication standstill. But right now it’s communication mis-fires and confusion.I’ve heard it said and it seems true that just BEFORE Mercury goes retrograde the energy is the most intensified. Anything that can go wrong, will — Murphy’s Law.
As for me, I should have checked my transits before i left the house for if I had, I’d have stayed home today! (The Leo Moon is aligned with my PLUTO and MARS in the 12th and squaring my nodes). It pays to pay attention to your intuition–but I didn’t. (Some psychic, eh? But nobody’s perfect or at least I’m not.)
Nearly had a car accident twice and interactions with some humans sucked!
Good news is that I got a mile swim in at the Y and had positive interaction with a storage rental guy who was ultra-kind and super-helpful, despite some other stuff that definitely went south.
Oh, well, ‘mama said there’ll be days like this’ as the song goes!
Hope your day is going well. And as for me… time to meditate! (It’s probably best if I avoid further contact with any humans today… LOL)
I’ll be on meditation vacation the rest of today!!
People with natal (birth) planets in CARDINAL SIGNS (Aries/Libra, Cancer/Cap) that are close to 15° in their birth chart are going to be most affected personally by this months intensification of the Cardinal Cross.
I’m one of those lucky folks (rocking my 2nd house); it is the same with my oldest daughter. In another daughter’s chart, it’s hitting her natal Pluto and NN combo and yet another daughter has the grand cross really affecting the area of her Ascendant; so all of my daughters are being affected by this grand cross because their natal houses have planets in those signs at those approximate degrees, just like mine.
I have to cringe a bit when other people shrug, smile and say something like, “I don’t think astrology works for me–because in my life things are rolling along just fine and actually better than ever, thank you”. They probably don’t have natal planets in in those degrees in those signs, but everyone is going to be affected in some way, if not so personally, on a community, city, state, national or global level.
And if your personal life is not deeply affected, it may be affected by someone else’s life who “is” deeply affected personally by this grand cross energy–in which case, you are still impacted in some way. I’ve always admired the way astrologer Steve Forest drives the point home with words. In his recent newsletter, he wrote: “Push comes to shove. Breaking points are reached. Crisis reigns. Squares and oppositions are exactly like the sound your engine eventually makes when you’ve decided to ignore the little red oil light on your dashboard. And the reasons are exactly the same: at squares and oppositions, bad behavior catches up with us. The law of consequences reigns.”
I’m not sure its all ‘bad behavior’ like Steven says; but then, he’s more of a master of astrology and myself the apprentice. I think karmic situations are triggered–certainly and cause us to “work on our stuff” because that crisis energy helps us to see ourselves more clearly. The cardinal energy is pretty stubborn stuff in our psyches’ and sometimes a bit of a crisis helps to move things along where we may have held on or been resistant. It can move things along in a very positive way.
Maybe it’s the optimist in me but I can see that’s exactly what is happening in my life–moving things along in a direction that I’d not have (without that crisis push) taken. But the direction is positive–or that’s how it looks from this point in time anyway.
DESCRIBING THE FEEL OF THE ENERGY: Cardinal energy goes outward and then withdraws taking two steps forward and one step back and I must say that’s how a lot of energy in my own life has felt–very cardinal! The energy sort of reaches out for freedom and then steps back for security and containment. AND with cardinal energy there can be a lot of projecting onto others instead of being responsible for one’s own emotions. Holding other people responsible for one’s own happiness is an example of projection.
Using Steven Forests’ example of the red oil light on the dashboard you ignore right before you “blow a rod” and destroy your engine…. let’s say that if you’re in bumper-to-bumper traffic and somebody else’s light comes on in their dashboard, their engine cuts out and doesn’t restart, you’re going to be affected anyway–maybe not directly, but indirectly. AND, I might add, in a way that’s in divine order for you too! The universe is magical that way–everybody gets what they need to evolve in one way or another.
Astrology can be vastly complicated or quite literal and simple. There’s so much to be said about the dynamics of the Grand Cross and it has been — just Google the term.
I like the way Steve Forest puts it all. Why re-invent the wheel (especially when I’m supposed to be packing right now–best get at it, chop! chop!)
Yeah, really? seriously? Wasn’t I just changing babies diapers the other day? How could this be happening to ‘me’? I don’t think of myself this way but being the good girl scout, looking ahead to be prepared, I see myself doing just what my own mother (God rest her soul–as they say) did when she was… well, yeah, I think right about my same age. She found herself a place to live with others of her generation on her limited income and (cat out of the bag here), I’m doing the same thing right now. I’m too early and way too young for this right? Probably not; but LO! it’s taxing filling out all those forms and trying to figure it all out. Which way to go? Which decision to make, while at the same time feeling completely at the mercy of the odds. There’s not many ways to go actually. You just fill out the forms and pray you can manage until you move up on the list–and until the odds are in your favor, try to survive.
“May the odds be ever in your favor”–Hunger Games.
Well, anyway Cancer Capricorn is part of that grand cross with Aries Libra. Yeah, there are the planets in those signs of course but let’s just think a minute about Capricorn/Cancer. Sort of strange how those merge isn’t it? Capricorn (age) and Cancer (the baby/the child).
Isn’t it as we age that we become more childlike? Think of (oh, do we have to?) those “adult day care centers”–I can’t believe they actually call them that! That’s a perfect example of the merging of Capricorn (old) and Cancer (baby). I just realized that just typed “old baby” and I’m about to gross myself out here and maybe you too reader!
And of course wouldn’t you know this grand cross is triggering my 5th and 11th houses and the 2nd and 8th. Issues with the community, with my children, with my money and the money of others. Yeah, that’s how it’s all playing out in my life–those areas are being triggered.
And it’s culminating, about to hit the fan as the saying goes. Well, eventually I’m going to need some help and so I’m lining it up here–that’s just me facing old age even though I kick my legs and swing my arms in the pool as often as I can to stay young. Yet, I’m falling into my mother’s footsteps to find a community of people my age where income is adjusted to what’s fair and reasonable. I’m not like these younger adults with a big corporate entity backing me up with a big paycheck every week; it’s just me out here mother/father god; just little ole’ me. And maybe I’m delusional but I do deeply believe that I am employed by that unseen force that helps me to help others when I do psychic readings, counseling and astrology. I’ve got a few calls into the ‘big boss’ if you know what I mean.
Meanwhile, I see some synchronicity–well, a good bit of it if I’m going to be fair in my blogging accounts. I found out about help that came about in just that way serendipity, coincidence or whatever you’d like to call it–the path was shown and I’ve been following it and getting more and more direction and information. So, I’m being led even though I see several possible outcomes, as if yet there’s no indication as to which one will manifest. I’m, therefore, in the trust phase; and they don’t call it blind trust for nothen’!
It’s triggering that Aries/Libra thing too (Mar in Libra opposing Uranus in Aries). I don’t like to ask for help and I want to remain independent and that’s hard especially as we are dealing with my money and other people’s money: houses 2 and 8. That’s the other part of the grand cross.
Wanting to be independent and yet needing to ask children and community–why? because I’m getting old and that’s still a hard one to admit since, like I said–it was just the other day that I was the mom of three little girls!
Yeah, and wanting to be rescued is part of that dynamic too. Right now would be a good time for prince charming to ride in with saddle bags of money or at least a big house! Not going to happen: I know my astrology chart pretty well. Even if it did, I’d very likely be held prisoner and Mars and Uranus would be totally pissed off about that!
For me the dynamic of this Grand Cross is kicking up some family issues and the realization of aging, housing, money for housing (Cancer — Jupiter [money] in Cancer [home]) and family/freedom issues. Echoes of my natal node’s soul lessons actually–what else is new?
And looking up and out the window now I see the most beautiful sunset; the bright pink-orange with the dusty blue-purple. And I think of the word Trust again and take a deep breath. I will know which direction I’m going (or if I’m not going at all) by the time I need to know.
Breathing deeply, feeling so alone in this but remembering I’m not.
I’ve got a partner in spirit world helping and I don’t do anything alone. Neither do you reader–we’re not alone, we have helpers and guides showing us the next step or keeping us from stepping at all.
Blind trust; that’s all we need. Again. And don’t expect anyone to be able to really understand; in fact, don’t seek to be understood–not this month. Mars and Uranus are very independent and their both very active right now! Just breathe.
(By the way, they [more adept astrologers than me] say this transit will stay intense through May. That’s when I must decide about renewing my lease–not surprised about the timing.)
Just a few thoughts here while contemplating the energy of oppositions this morning with this month’s full Moon nearly upon us (Full Sunday March 16, 2014, approx 1 PM Eastern time). We know that when the Moon is full it is opposing the Sun–the Suns light shining fully on the Moon.
In astrological terms, oppositions (planets opposing each other in the chart) can be challenging–or that is one view point. Two forces fighting one another; however, one can energize the other like the energy of the Full Moon.
Did you ever have a conflict with some energy or oppose it (person, place or thing) only later on to find yourself empowered by it? Oppositions can be like that–at first challenging and then empowering. Or at least the empowering potential is there. Life is like that.
I also think of the middle path when considering oppositions, meeting half way and blending.
I took a look at my grandson’s chart this morning. He is going to open the performance of Guys and Dolls in the school play singing the song, “Sit down you’re rocken’ the boat”.
His birth chart holds a South Node in the very public and “on stage” 10th house where the rather large performing Jupiter resides natally as well along with Mars. The growing Full Moon is moving over all that energy now through opposition, triggering his past (South Node) and the evolutionary intention for this lifetime (North Node).
His emotions (Moon) over these next few days while he’s on stage will be energized by the opposing Jupiter, Mars and South Node. Said another way, his past life energy (South Node) and natal Mars and Jupiter will energize his Moon, his emotions. That should help empower his performance in the school play.
When I picked him up from the play practice yesterday, he loaded his things into the trunk of the car while singing his song! He seems energized and excited about the start of the play right upon him. His natal planets opposing his transiting Moon now energize him and I’d venture to say that an intense time for him will be tomorrow night’s performance as the Moon in transit squares is birth Pluto in the mutable (flexible) signs of Virgo/Sag. My guess is that he will rise to the challenge–his chart seems wired for it! Let your those inner stars shine kiddo!
It’s the middle of the summer eclipse season 2013! Lunar! Solar! Partial! Full! Whatever! A one word can suffice: change. Yeah, okay. But what kind and what for and what to do about it? Well, how its playing out in each of our lives can be somewhat different but the main theme is change. So, it all started in April with the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio; so a Scorpio Moon; check your schedules, journals, calendars or reflect back to the 25th of April during that full Moon. (I did and see a theme developing with finances; not surprising when we’re dealing with Scorpio and the opposite polarity Taurus. They rule the 2nd and 8th zodiac houses of our money/other people’s money—generally speaking as a huge over-simplified theme. Survival, values, self-worth and issues of power/control and these types of categories—that’s what we’re talking about, if we’re getting thematic and we are.
TECHNICAL—SKIP THIS PARAGRAPH IF YOU’RE NOT ‘INTO’ ASTROLOGY: Most people don’t know these details about themselves but I’ll mention anyway that if anyone has planets in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius that are between 1 and 11 degrees, that this energy will be most deeply felt. Why? Because this upcoming Full Moon Eclipse on the 25th of May happens at 5 degrees and is triggering the lot of any planets in those signs and in those degrees via aspects or angles, that’s why.
But even if you don’t know those details, everyone has transiting Saturn (in Scorpio) and Mars (in Taurus) triggered at that time. So, you’re effected with or without knowledge of your planets, houses or signs. But knowledge is power, so let’s continue.
Although I just said that I’d leave myself out of it, Saturn in Scorpio brought (for me) deep emotional sadness (my brother had just died) and other emotions had me initiating (Mars) some new ideas about monetary survival concerns (Taurus). I’m sharing this for the purposes of helping others understand their own astrological eclipse energy as I try to figure this thing out myself. What is the message that is being given to us by the universe this eclipse season?
Eclipses can suddenly expose a hidden problem and are like the ‘wild cards’ of the zodiac which can bring up stressful emotions, chaotic events or they can be very positive and exciting. I’m sure there are those who feel little or no effect at all. Why so? Well, it depends on whether or not those signs relate to something significant in the natal chart triggering the soul’s karmic past or evolutionary goal—some eclipses do and others don’t. Just because someone experiences an eclipse season as mild, doesn’t indicate some type of spiritual advancement. Besides, let’s face it. If we got hit intensely and heavily with each and every single eclipse, chances are we’d be overwhelmed—that’s why we have something called ‘time’ to slow it all down for us. So, wipe the grin off your face if you are not being affected by this particular eclipse, there’s always next year!
My Natal North and South Nodes are being hit by this eclipse season so my soul’s karmic past and evolutionary intention are really being shaken. Last year, the summer eclipses (in which I relocated from the mountains to this apartment complex down mountain) occurred I the signs Gemini-Sagittarius. One archetype of this zodiac axis relates to short trips and travel—that axis in my natal chart occurs in 5-11, the archetypes of children (5th) and the clan/community (11th). I’m in the community now “fer’ shure” as we used to say it in the 80’s. I moved into this apartment complex where my children live. And I did so last year between the May 20th and June 4th eclipse. My move in date was the 21st of May last year, 2012. So all that Gemini-Sag eclipse stuff that last year is being mentioned here as an example of how an eclipse season can work. Let’s get current–it’s now one year later, May 9, 2013.
So much for history; let’s return to the NOW. Scorpio – Taurus is where we’re at for this years eclipse season encore. And for me triggers more family/career stuff since in my life, the natal nodes are in the 4-10 house axis. Again, if you are born with personal planets in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius; then you’re being affected.
My whole generation is feeling the effects of this eclipse since all people born in the Pluto in Leo generation which is roughly between the years of 1940 and 1957 are affected by these eclipses in Taurus/Scorpio via the square; especially if their Pluto is within orb or between 1 and 11 degrees Leo.
Oh, I may be getting too technical. We’re just talking about what issues can cause concern when we look at the signs and houses that an eclipse affects.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSE?
ANSWER: Just as a general rule of thumb, solar eclipses are more external dealing with outer world events while the lunar eclipses are more emotional and internal.
So let’s go back to April 25th. We checked the calendar/journal/schedule and reflected back to that last week or so of April a moment ago—was that more internal or external for you? We feel intensely emotional about something and that can result in taking the bull-by-the-horns so to speak and initiating an external event. I was re-thinking my whole approach to things at that time due to some emotional unrest and as a result did initiate a few outer world experiences. I will leave the details to your imagination.
Eclipses have a profound effect on a person’s life—at least potentially depending upon what other planets it triggers. The tension may last only a few weeks; however the change that happens in that period can last a lifetime.
Take, for example, the eclipse season of last summer as it relates to my own life. The move closer to my family—definitely true that things that have happened this past year did affect my life and the lives of my family and the affects likely will last a lifetime i.e. our relationships, memories and all of that. So there’s a good example. The intensity of the move—the packing up and moving in took weeks but the change? Well, pretty dramatic.
Eclipses can illuminate areas of one’s life—like shining a light on the person, the path bringing into awareness something that beforehand was not being noticed. We could say something like removing a blind spot! I think that’s a good way to phrase it. Whatever has been pushed to one side or shoved under the carpet becomes obvious. Sometimes I think of eclipses as earthquakes—especially after last summer as well as the current energy.
Today’s eclipse (May 9th 2013) is Solar and this Sun/Moon conjunction is closely (as mentioned earlier) merged with Mercury, Mars and most importantly the South Node. So past life or even this current lifetime’s past memories and past actions (Karma possibly-?) is being illuminated revealing, once again, possible blind spots.
The next eclipse of this series is another Lunar Eclipse and occurs on May 25 on the full Moon. There are two eclipse seasons every year – lunar eclipses are the byproducts of any given solar eclipse. Therefore, the eclipse ahead of us on the 25th (Full Moon Lunar eclipse) is the byproduct of today’s New Moon Solar Eclipse.
Today’s Solar Eclipse may bring events that we have not consciously precipitated or triggered and then the consequential upcoming Full Moon Lunar eclipse on the 25th will be associated with events brougth about by our own thoughts and feelings.
Let me end with a quote from astrologer Dena DeCastro’s (www.denadecastro.com) recent newsletter to give us more of an idea about this eclipse season. Her comments echo other astrologers all of whom are saying essentially the same thing. About this eclipse season Dena wrote:
“We’re being invited to confront our fears, and to let go of the things we’ve held on to – habits, ideas, material things – that makes us feel secure. And, that’s the South Node in Taurus: we are learning to release attachment to some things that have allowed us to be comfortable for a while. The evolutionary condition is that, as a whole, we have become too comfortable, cozy, sleepy. Inertia has set in (shadow side of Taurus). Scorpio medicine invites us to surrender to what feels out of our control. For example, intense emotions, maybe long suppressed, may be coming to the surface now. Or, you might find that you can no longer avoid doing that thing you are passionate about, but have been so afraid to do. If you don’t know what that is yet, don’t worry. Another year and a half of North Node in Scorpio will likely reveal it to you. But you must be willing to look beneath the surface of things, to confront fears, and to ride the wave rather of change rather than fighting it. ~ So these themes and lessons are brought to the surface each time the eclipses occur in the Taurus/Scorpio polarity, particularly heightened in the two weeks leading up to and away from the eclipses. We are in such a time frame currently, which began in early April and goes through the early part of June. In my life, it has been a challenging time, full of Scorpionic themes. I touched on some of these in my previous newsletter. As I look at the lives of those closest to me, and events in the world around me, I see many of us being pushed out of the inertia state of shadow-Taurus toward confronting uncomfortable, even frightening, realities. Through being awakened to the things we usually don’t like to consider, however, we are provided the opportunity to gain wisdom and the ability to find the true sources of our own power.”—end quote, Dena DeCastro
I hope this post helps someone out there to hang on with chin up! As mom used to say, “This too shall pass” and as I say, “I can go through anything if I know why and how long it’s likely to last!”
Maybe by next month, if we don’t get it right now, we will be able to look back on this time period of 3 eclipses April 25 thru May 25th and figure it all out! Here’s to eclipses (raising my coffee cup to the air and not spilling a drop) and may the force be with you.
I hope that we all receive some positive changes through this intense time period and I hope for you that your experiences are the intensely happy kind. May the odds be ever in your favor!
