Time of birth is unknown according to her granddaughter (per Bette Lou Higgins, author of a book about Grandma Gatewood and an upcoming PBS Special called Trail Magic). Therefore, I have cast a chart with the natural houses, 0° ARIES Rising. It shouldn’t be too difficult to rectify this chart sometime in the future which will be my next project as time permits.
Grandma Gatewood hiked the 2,000+ miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine for the first time at age 67. Then she did it twice more and after that the 2,000 mile Oregon Trail followed by many other hikes!
Today – It’s a super charged Full Moon (April 4, 2015) in Libra! What can this mean? Here’s my version…
But is it only today that we may feel (Moon/emotion) the effects? No; it’s more or less a theme that’s been occurring at least since the last eclipse (Solar a few weeks ago, March 20).
Something shifted around that time, perhaps ended—a change; a new way of BE-ing may have occurred for you.
And now, that’s associated with a new beginning.
Don’t’ get hung up on the exact dates; instead just think about something that may have occurred in the life 2 or 3 weeks ago (or even a month or so ago) that set you up for the new phase that this eclipse is heralding—new beginning; new way of seeing things; new way of being in the world; new chapter in the life. (We can experience the effects of an eclipse months before and months after–or so they say and so I’ve personally observed.) But what are the key factors we can realize now?
Relationship is the key word with this energy and if you’re like me—happy to be in relationship with Self with a capital S (Higher Self) and with Divine Being you may, like me, be seeing life in a whole new light. That should be a capital L really in the word Life—meaning All That Is and of course all that isn’t and the space in between.
Of course, we’d also have to mention personal one-on-one relationships with family, friends, life partners too which may be taking on a whole new meaning right about now and over the next few months.
This is no ordinary placement. The Sun is conjunct Uranus and T-squaring Pluto. What a mixture! Moon, Uranus in Aries, the Libra Sun and tossed into that we also have the Capricorn Pluto – better not reference tossing Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, anywhere– it’s he who does the tossing. LOL
Sun in Aries wants freedom and the ability to do it’s own thing regarding its purpose in life and the planet Uranus is empowering that Sun to go for it! As I see it, the planets and luminaries are setting up that theme when the Sun/Uranus opposes Moon and squares Pluto.
To me that configuration indicates finding freedom in our life in a new way–one which challenges our feelings of security or actually enhances those feelings to create transformational (Pluto, the transformer) attitudes or views regarding how we relate to others and/or to Life Itself. Pluto is quite psychological and so we could sense here a new psychology in your life–perhaps a highly personal one that creates a new beginning.
Can you see or feel how this can be playing out in your life now? And how it has been occurring for some time now?
Jupiter plays a part in this attitudinal, emotional energy merger and change of view too. Jupiter, the great benefic, is highly focused via it’s retrograde motion. It’s moving through Leo now. And now its making an aspect to the other players, bringing with it a sense of playfulness and joy and mostly FUN. That’s the energy that influences and balances this new attitude and way of be-ing that is taking shape and changing our lives right now.
May the blessings of Jupiter be yours and may you find the freedom and harmony in your life that brings the new freedom/ liberation of contented happiness with the influence of this eclipse both now and over the next 6 months!
People with natal (birth) planets in CARDINAL SIGNS (Aries/Libra, Cancer/Cap) that are close to 15° in their birth chart are going to be most affected personally by this months intensification of the Cardinal Cross.
I’m one of those lucky folks (rocking my 2nd house); it is the same with my oldest daughter. In another daughter’s chart, it’s hitting her natal Pluto and NN combo and yet another daughter has the grand cross really affecting the area of her Ascendant; so all of my daughters are being affected by this grand cross because their natal houses have planets in those signs at those approximate degrees, just like mine.
I have to cringe a bit when other people shrug, smile and say something like, “I don’t think astrology works for me–because in my life things are rolling along just fine and actually better than ever, thank you”. They probably don’t have natal planets in in those degrees in those signs, but everyone is going to be affected in some way, if not so personally, on a community, city, state, national or global level.
And if your personal life is not deeply affected, it may be affected by someone else’s life who “is” deeply affected personally by this grand cross energy–in which case, you are still impacted in some way. I’ve always admired the way astrologer Steve Forest drives the point home with words. In his recent newsletter, he wrote: “Push comes to shove. Breaking points are reached. Crisis reigns. Squares and oppositions are exactly like the sound your engine eventually makes when you’ve decided to ignore the little red oil light on your dashboard. And the reasons are exactly the same: at squares and oppositions, bad behavior catches up with us. The law of consequences reigns.”
I’m not sure its all ‘bad behavior’ like Steven says; but then, he’s more of a master of astrology and myself the apprentice. I think karmic situations are triggered–certainly and cause us to “work on our stuff” because that crisis energy helps us to see ourselves more clearly. The cardinal energy is pretty stubborn stuff in our psyches’ and sometimes a bit of a crisis helps to move things along where we may have held on or been resistant. It can move things along in a very positive way.
Maybe it’s the optimist in me but I can see that’s exactly what is happening in my life–moving things along in a direction that I’d not have (without that crisis push) taken. But the direction is positive–or that’s how it looks from this point in time anyway.
DESCRIBING THE FEEL OF THE ENERGY: Cardinal energy goes outward and then withdraws taking two steps forward and one step back and I must say that’s how a lot of energy in my own life has felt–very cardinal! The energy sort of reaches out for freedom and then steps back for security and containment. AND with cardinal energy there can be a lot of projecting onto others instead of being responsible for one’s own emotions. Holding other people responsible for one’s own happiness is an example of projection.
Using Steven Forests’ example of the red oil light on the dashboard you ignore right before you “blow a rod” and destroy your engine…. let’s say that if you’re in bumper-to-bumper traffic and somebody else’s light comes on in their dashboard, their engine cuts out and doesn’t restart, you’re going to be affected anyway–maybe not directly, but indirectly. AND, I might add, in a way that’s in divine order for you too! The universe is magical that way–everybody gets what they need to evolve in one way or another.
Astrology can be vastly complicated or quite literal and simple. There’s so much to be said about the dynamics of the Grand Cross and it has been — just Google the term.
I like the way Steve Forest puts it all. Why re-invent the wheel (especially when I’m supposed to be packing right now–best get at it, chop! chop!)
Yeah, really? seriously? Wasn’t I just changing babies diapers the other day? How could this be happening to ‘me’? I don’t think of myself this way but being the good girl scout, looking ahead to be prepared, I see myself doing just what my own mother (God rest her soul–as they say) did when she was… well, yeah, I think right about my same age. She found herself a place to live with others of her generation on her limited income and (cat out of the bag here), I’m doing the same thing right now. I’m too early and way too young for this right? Probably not; but LO! it’s taxing filling out all those forms and trying to figure it all out. Which way to go? Which decision to make, while at the same time feeling completely at the mercy of the odds. There’s not many ways to go actually. You just fill out the forms and pray you can manage until you move up on the list–and until the odds are in your favor, try to survive.
“May the odds be ever in your favor”–Hunger Games.
Well, anyway Cancer Capricorn is part of that grand cross with Aries Libra. Yeah, there are the planets in those signs of course but let’s just think a minute about Capricorn/Cancer. Sort of strange how those merge isn’t it? Capricorn (age) and Cancer (the baby/the child).
Isn’t it as we age that we become more childlike? Think of (oh, do we have to?) those “adult day care centers”–I can’t believe they actually call them that! That’s a perfect example of the merging of Capricorn (old) and Cancer (baby). I just realized that just typed “old baby” and I’m about to gross myself out here and maybe you too reader!
And of course wouldn’t you know this grand cross is triggering my 5th and 11th houses and the 2nd and 8th. Issues with the community, with my children, with my money and the money of others. Yeah, that’s how it’s all playing out in my life–those areas are being triggered.
And it’s culminating, about to hit the fan as the saying goes. Well, eventually I’m going to need some help and so I’m lining it up here–that’s just me facing old age even though I kick my legs and swing my arms in the pool as often as I can to stay young. Yet, I’m falling into my mother’s footsteps to find a community of people my age where income is adjusted to what’s fair and reasonable. I’m not like these younger adults with a big corporate entity backing me up with a big paycheck every week; it’s just me out here mother/father god; just little ole’ me. And maybe I’m delusional but I do deeply believe that I am employed by that unseen force that helps me to help others when I do psychic readings, counseling and astrology. I’ve got a few calls into the ‘big boss’ if you know what I mean.
Meanwhile, I see some synchronicity–well, a good bit of it if I’m going to be fair in my blogging accounts. I found out about help that came about in just that way serendipity, coincidence or whatever you’d like to call it–the path was shown and I’ve been following it and getting more and more direction and information. So, I’m being led even though I see several possible outcomes, as if yet there’s no indication as to which one will manifest. I’m, therefore, in the trust phase; and they don’t call it blind trust for nothen’!
It’s triggering that Aries/Libra thing too (Mar in Libra opposing Uranus in Aries). I don’t like to ask for help and I want to remain independent and that’s hard especially as we are dealing with my money and other people’s money: houses 2 and 8. That’s the other part of the grand cross.
Wanting to be independent and yet needing to ask children and community–why? because I’m getting old and that’s still a hard one to admit since, like I said–it was just the other day that I was the mom of three little girls!
Yeah, and wanting to be rescued is part of that dynamic too. Right now would be a good time for prince charming to ride in with saddle bags of money or at least a big house! Not going to happen: I know my astrology chart pretty well. Even if it did, I’d very likely be held prisoner and Mars and Uranus would be totally pissed off about that!
For me the dynamic of this Grand Cross is kicking up some family issues and the realization of aging, housing, money for housing (Cancer — Jupiter [money] in Cancer [home]) and family/freedom issues. Echoes of my natal node’s soul lessons actually–what else is new?
And looking up and out the window now I see the most beautiful sunset; the bright pink-orange with the dusty blue-purple. And I think of the word Trust again and take a deep breath. I will know which direction I’m going (or if I’m not going at all) by the time I need to know.
Breathing deeply, feeling so alone in this but remembering I’m not.
I’ve got a partner in spirit world helping and I don’t do anything alone. Neither do you reader–we’re not alone, we have helpers and guides showing us the next step or keeping us from stepping at all.
Blind trust; that’s all we need. Again. And don’t expect anyone to be able to really understand; in fact, don’t seek to be understood–not this month. Mars and Uranus are very independent and their both very active right now! Just breathe.
(By the way, they [more adept astrologers than me] say this transit will stay intense through May. That’s when I must decide about renewing my lease–not surprised about the timing.)
Ah yes! The little darling did it again! “Aunt Joy, I didn’t think you had any friends.” Well, of course, can you blame her? I mention one of my friends at dinner in the restaurant–I was referring to a human friend by the way. Anyway…
She’s 17 years old and friends at her age are the end-all, beat-all and collecting the numbers at any price for popularity and all that is typical of that age I suppose. Yet, myself at 17, I had my books and spent a lot of time to myself and as we trace this timeline backward and forward from that age, same deal!
I often talk about the trees being “my friends” and the birds too and then of course, my crystal friends–the stones I’ve been Facebook-ing about and in wrote about in my newsletter earlier this week. My niece joins most of the rest of consensus humanity (the mass-mind of a shallow society) with values completely different from my own and dare I say nearly opposed from fringe dwellers (at least in consciousness) like me.
Well, she stopped my mind in it’s tracks at that moment with her comment about never seeing me with a “friend”. I realize that most others who have the same world and “other-world” view as myself are like hidden gems and most I’ve found (or they have found me) through the Internet, my website, as clients or psychic class members. I suspect there have been many lifetimes that my soul spent up on mountaintops or alone in the wood where I feel most at home with nature and animal friends.
So this innocent, thoughtless (or was it?) comment from this high school-er relative got me to thinking. How does someone respond to that kind of thing? I was stopped in my mental tracks by her words because I realized the pattern of people simply not knowing who I am–not that I’d expect any selfish minded, self-centered teenager to take the time or trouble to figure that out but how could I even explain it during casual dinner conversation?
So, I didn’t say much and tried to joke it away later in the conversation: “Well, what do I know? I don’t even have any friends. ha ha”
I have to say that when an animal says hello or recognizes me, it brings me feelings of happiness and sacredness (really sacredness is a really good word to describe it)—feelings that rarely happen when a human says hello when passing by. I’m thinking of dogs who stop to say hello–this used to happen more often in the mountains where they weren’t leashed. But even now here in the heart of the crowded human city when a pet owner walks by with their dog on the leash, we connect. The pet owner fades back and blurs out in my experience and the dog and I connect! Instant friend!
Each of my 3 daughters has a cat–one daughter has 3 cats and those are my friends too!
Those are the local friends within the community; but I do have online friends… many for years and years! And telephone friends too. Not that I need to defend or explain this—yet there it was again in the face of her comment. Totally misunderstood—again! Its a pattern of course and that feeling of being “an alien from a galaxy far, far away” (to borrow a phrase from the movies—wasn’t it Star Wars?) —anyway, that feeling is so familiar and has some emotional pain woven into it at points. But then, it’s right on time–isn’t it?
I mean that astrologically it is–this whole friend ‘thing’ and relationship ‘thing’–now that the transiting Lunar Nodes are moving through Libra/Aries. I’m sure there will be more of this kind of thing rather than less and I’m telling myself that I may as well get used to it. As you likely know, the archetype themes of Libra/Aries have to do with independence/freedom versus relationship. And suddenly I hear Barbara Streisand’s voice in my head singing “People who need people, are the luckiest people in the world….”. Honestly, frankly, truth be told—I’ve always hated that song! I guess that could be pretty revealing, right?
Well, so today thinking of all this, I thought to close eyes and to do a CRYSTAL READING for myself, pulling a stone out of the bowl–the vibe of which I was hoping would give me some help. After all, the title of this week’s newsletter was CRYSTALS HELP. Anyway, guess what stone it was? LEOPARDSKIN JASPER!
This is the stone that I think of as relating to communicating with the animals. This stone relates to kindness and gentleness which is how I experience most all animals–they are kind and gentle and help us to be as well. But mostly, since I was thinking today about how animals really make better friends than most humans (those ego-inflated humans with their agendas which rarely include unconditional love and acceptance)… mostly, I felt that with eyes closed drawing this stone out of my crystal bowl was a smile and recognition from the animal kingdom and my own animal totem.
For the record and in the interest of disclosure, being human myself (sometimes regretfully–ha ha) the unconditional love and acceptance example of animals is one that I could emulate more too. I do like the example of cats however as they will intuitively walk away from humans with vibrations that are harsh, mean, aggressive, ill-disposed or unfriendly. Cats are selective about their human bonds–me too!
Funny thing though–if I should at any time find myself longing for anything or looking at my desire-nature, never is there wish for more friends. I suppose it’s an emotional security thing, you know? Most humans long for what they believe will give them emotional security, more happiness, and less pain. I have a short list in that regard and more friends simply isn’t on it–and there’s no elitism or snobbishness with that or anywhere on the side.
I think, too, that as a psychic and medium, there is a continual awareness of having a full life with my friends in spirit world. For example, right now, I feel the room in which I’m typing this filled with spirit beings, crystal people and …. well, the room is full, and in that sense my life is full and would a simple minded teenager understand that?
Spirit friends: I can see them, feel, them and know I am surrounded by them–just like many other fringe dwellers who would be stumped, as I was, by that comment.
So, I will take my Leopardskin Jasper and place it in my pocket and carry it with me today and smile my secret smile knowing I’ve had a wink and a nod from those of the Animal Kingdom–the very best kinds of friends!
Excuse me now–because its time to water my plant friends!
FEED YOUR SUN TO ENHANCE YOUR LIFE FORCE AND TO FEEL STRONG, HAPPY, ENERGIZED
The Sun Sign is like a key which enables us to turn it to reach a particular channel of consciousness that vitalizes our essence physically, mentally and spiritually. A weak Sun enables us to fall apart easily, feel physically weak, disoriented and depressed. We need the Sun, the Light to energize our heart–our spirit here. When our Sun is healthy we feel strong and able to handle the challenges of life. We should each know what it is that nourishes us and helps us feel our own power—and astrology can help us. We should know and study the sign of our Sun and that’s the reason for today’s post!
I will list each Sun sign and a line or two about what you need to nourish your body, mind and soul to keep yourself healthy and energized—we should know how to feed our Sun; how to bring more Light into our body, mind and spirit so that we can feel happy here!
The Sun is thought to be Male energy—the animus as Jung called it. Our Sun is our Life Force (as above, so below)–it’s our Prana and it helps us with our creative expression here. More basically it is what produces our will to live and so we should know how to nourish it.
Nourishing (feeding) our Sun is what helps us to feel confident and it is different for each of us, based on our birth data.
Almost everyone knows their Sun sign but if you don’t, I will include the list of signs with dates below. This list isn’t intended to be all inclusive—this is just off the top of my head so-to-speak mentioning some of the key points that come to mind about each Sun which my own Libra Sun needs to do in order to feel energized an purposeful i.e. “relating”. Anyway, here we go…
SUN IN ARIES (born March 21 – April 20)
You need fire and to express courage and a pioneering spirit and be out front or first in anything you do. Any activity that encourages such things will feed your Sun and help your life force sparkle and shine brighter. You need excitement and to try new things—as many as you can even if you don’t follow up with everything you start, you need those exciting “new starts” often and in some form in order to feed your Sun and help you feel confident and alive .
SUN IN TAURUS (born April 21 – May 20)
You need earth and to express your very practical ideas in any way that you can. You are good at handling resources and expressing this skill helps you to feed your life force and feel confident. When you work with money/finances you shine just like you do when you express your strong tastes in creating beauty with earth resources. When you care for your physical needs and comforts, you energize your body, mind and spirit.
SUN IN GEMINI (born May 21 – June 21)
You need air, mental, thought to energize your sense of dualism—and when you can hold two views at the same time or unite two sets of opposites, this helps you to feel confident and powerful. When you allow yourself to use your natural born gift of observation and combine that with words in any way—shazam, you are really rocking and feeling your light grow brighter. Mental stimulation in any way, shape or form energizes you and when you talk about things this too helps body, mind and spirit unite—expressing yourself does it for you and helps you feel vital and alive.
SUN IN CANCER (born June 22 – July 22)
Water, emotions and security are the key words here that feed this Sun and help people in this sign feel strong and vital. Home, family and tradition and things to do with the past help you feel a sense of purpose that enlivens your body, mind and soul. Building a sense of home and doing that groundwork for that purpose feeds your sun and helps you feel more powerful, confident and alive – you take the past and create a self-image from that making an identity that helps you feel more yourself. When you care for others and protect and nurture them, this feeds your own Sun—your life force. If you don’t use your deep feelings to care for others, you feel more vulnerable and loose energy; however, if your home or security are threatened this enables you to find your Sun and call upon your own natural inner strength making you aware of it and this ultimately enables you to feel more alive, confident and purposeful.
SUN IN LEO (born July 23 – Aug 22, 23)
This person needs fire, passion and awareness of self and feels enlivened when in any kind of central position or at the core of anything that is going on. If this type of individual is not feeling popular with others, it can dampen the spirit and it’s like put a blanket over their life force. The person born under this Sun will feel the need to reach the pinnacle of achievement in some area but must also remember to have fun so that work and pleasure are in equal measure—if not, the life force depletes and the Sun is not being fed. There is a susceptibility to flattery from others until this individual can learn how to nourish their own Sun by self-acceptance and true self-awareness.
SUN IN VIRGO (born August 23, 23 – September 22, 23)
Humility, compassion and modesty and an urge to be of service and make a significant difference in the world in a hands-on and grounded way that is practical and useful; this is what feeds and nourishes the body, mind and spirit of those born under the Virgo Sun. Other Sun signs can take advantage of the service oriented Virgo nature who likes to work behind the scenes. Satisfaction comes from giving attention to details and by pursuing a natural interest in healing—those activities feed the Virgo Sun helping this individual feel confident and vital.
SUN IN LIBRA (born September 23, 24 – October 22, 23)
The emphasis here is on non-self or the ‘other’ and on anything air related such as writing, speaking and in any way ‘relating’. When the person born under this sign is uniting with others in some way there comes a feeling of wholeness and balance and harmony. A person born under this Sun has a consideration of other people’s feelings, such as even if this person is expressing anger it is on behalf of another rather than self. The Libra soul really has a strong need to justice and fair play and working for the benefit of others is what enables this soul to be energized and feel confident and vital.
SUN IN SCORPIO (born October 23, 24 – November 22)
The person born under this Sun has an urge to fight an conquer foes whether real or imagined and the need is to slay a dragon of some type and so here feeling the power of tenacity makes on feel alive and vital. There’s an innate need for passion and sometimes engaging in activities to the point of obsession but this level of intensity is needed in order to feed body, mind and soul. If the person can dig deeply for the truth even to the point of doing research in some way to find the deep bottom-line answer, then the life force is energized. Anything involving psychology and learning about the motivations of others helps the person born under this sign to feel vital, alive and generally purposeful which feeds their life force.
SUN IN SAGITTARIUS (born November 23 – December 21, 22, 23)
Expansion of the solar forces to their fullest potential happen with those born under the Sag Sun and there needs to be a wide field or area for this person to express their life force energy. Here we have individuals who have a huge abundance of tolerance naturally and when this is being expressed, the Sag person feels that sense of purpose being fulfilled. Honesty, freedom and optimism and cheerfulness need to be allowed expression in order for the person born under this Sun to feel confident and vitally alive. The naturally restless spirit of the Sag Sun individual is soothed by experiencing some type of adventure and having an expression of freedom in their life in some way. Teaching helps someone born in Sag to feel vitally alive, purposeful and thus feeds that life force, their Sun. Travel or planning a trip is also something that a Sagittarius can do in order to feed their Sun!
SUN IN CAPRICORN (born December 22, 23, 24 – January 20)
The Sun’s rays are usually weaker during these months but inside this individual there is a quiet drive that is powerfully present and needs feeding. Anything requiring tenacity and determination will feed the body, mind and spirit of this individual. This person needs a goal and something to master in some field or endeavor and has what it takes to endure hardship and to overcome obstacles and when these hardships and obstacles are overcome, the life force is revitalized. There is purpose on the path of overcoming life that feeds this person’s body, mind and spirit. This Capricorn Sun needs responsibility and can thrive on it!
SUN IN AQUARIUS (born January 21 – February 19)
The person born under this Sun thrives on cooperation with others; and without it their life force fades and wanes. Personal satisfaction comes from considering others first and in fact self-promotion diminishes one’s feeling of power and confidence. Sharing with others and humanitarian concerns rule this individuals deepest inner desires and help one feel the life is being well-lived and furthers the feelings of brotherhood and friendship that keep this Sun fed. Technology is also a place wherein a person born under this sign can shine and feel confident and purposeful; so developing technical skill helps one feel like shining even brighter especially if the technology enhances other people’s welfare.
SUN IN PISCES (born 2/20 – 3/20)
The solar forces are probably the weakest here in those born under this sign. Yet, in times of adversity, the solar spark ignites and inner strength asserts itself. Here we can see folks who can be very resistant but in a very passive way but the resistance can be arduous and formidable. The person born under this sign feels confidence and life force grow when expressing adaptability, tolerance and compassion. If the person born under a Pisces Sun works on behalf of those less fortunate this generally motivates their life. So, therefore, charity work and healing work are of benefit in feeding the Sun of those born under Pisces. The thing here is that the individual is basically very kind but others perceive this as weakness and then take advantage; therefore, boundaries are crucial for those born under this Sun Sign. If anything in the arts using imagination are pursued (music, dancing, etc.) this can feed the Sun here since those born with a Pisces Sun have a strong imagination. Grounding, naturally, is something that should be balanced with the imaginative nature.
I hope this little list will help you to know how to feed your own Sun and also for you to know a bit about how to help your family and friends enhance their life force as well.
PERSONAL INTENTION AND PRAYER:
May this information reach the right people and the right time in order to make a positive difference in their life and may their life force be energized beyond measure for the good of all.
Squares force action to be taken and all planets (IMHO) are like spirit guides.. . well, truth be told, not “like”–are. That’s how I see it. Anyway… Squares can cause frustration which then causes action—and all of it is in harmony with our life purpose and goals.
Today, in my personal chart, the transiting Sun (in my 12th house ) is making square and semi-square aspects to my natal Chiron and natal Uranus. Uranus has to do with group energy since it rules the 11th house.
Well, we can go on with astro-babble but the bottom line is that something has come out into the open (my Sun transiting in the 12th) and makes difficult aspects to Uranus and Chiron.
Venus is making a conjunction to my 11th house natal Uranus so a certain ‘invasion of the body snatcher’ energy is happening. The purpose is so that something can be realized and released.
My grandson and I shared a similar experience this week.
He has had, just as I’ve had, someone who was a bit of a thorn-in- the-side. Like me, he didn’t fret much over it but when the level of frustration became too high he dealt with it quickly and in the moment of the height of frustration (square causing action born of frustration) and then he released it.
I tend to avoid confrontations—I have a Sun and Moon in Libra in my birth chart. Therefore, I want to be the nice one and every now and then the universe sends me someone to challenge the tendency that I have to avoid speaking up for myself. But then that’s what most squares, semi-squares, and sesqui-quadrate astrology aspects are about! They force us to take “action”. AND, If a good number of squares are happening in your life all at once and then you toss in an “invasion of the body snatchers” aspect like a conjunction—Look out! That confrontation-avoiding Libra energy will turn into its polarity— Aries! The frustration of all those squares and semi-squares and so forth will be released! They were earlier today… and then I looked at my transiting chart and I get why and how it relates to my life lessons and my evolutionary goals.
This upper classmen (sophomore) who marches behind my freshman grandson at his high school marching band practice this week has been calling out “Left, left, left, left…” each day. This is what my normally quiet and reserved grandson said he did when he couldn’t quite deal with the frustration anymore. You see it was causing him to mis-step and was distracting. In between steps and notes right in the middle of band practice he yelled out, “Stop saying LEFT!”
“Then what happened?” I asked. Nothing, he said. “He stopped. “
And there it was, life continued on and he marched without the upper classmen shouting—end of story. Actually, my grandson looked at me when he said, “He stopped” as if to say what else would happen?
Of course, that’s not always the case; there are some people who want to make big drama out of things. I’m trying not to be one of them…. LOL.
In my case, I said something similar to someone in a group too and really nothing more needs to be said.
I wanted to blog about it today because sometimes a person has no choice when the frustration builds to a level where a release is needed, one happens—and the coolest part is that we can actually see it in the transiting chart.
Is it unspiritual or unlady- like or “un-anything” to call people out on their stuff and to protect one’s creations and career? Some may say it is but I’m going to blame today’s Venus/Uranus conjunction. (Venus transiting my 11th and sitting on top of my natal Uranus in the 11th and all that Gemini energy….triggering that 3rd house natal Venus in Scorpio…. )
Oh, and did I mention the square, sesqui-square and semi -square from Sun and Venus to natal Chiron and Uranus?! Or that my transiting Jupiter in my 10th making an inconjunct to Chiron? As a psychic I knew what was going on with certain people and as a psychic I trusted the impulse to act today just as my grandson did with his band-mate.
Whatever. I’m going to do like my grandson did with his thorn-in-the side-frustration with his sophomore nemesis; we can’t let people keep us from being in step with life. Sometimes we have to speak up—for better or worse. And sometimes astrological aspects support that and if you are familiar with your natal nodes you can see why! I love astrology. That’s all I’m sayen’. 🙂
PS– one of my grandson’s lessons is to stop putting everyone elses needs before his own; his speaking out the other day is shown in his chart his 1st house Jupiter/Gemini TRINE to natal Venus–speaking out for his own needs was easy (trine) for him that day and supported as well. He also had a few Mars squares, but you get the idea.
My apologies to readers for using this blog as a vent from time-to-time (as I just have).
I want to share how happy I am at this new location: I love the cathedral ceiling in my little one bedroom apartment rental and the walk-in closet and nice pantry and also I love that we have so many people from India living here and did I mention how I love the swimming pool? If not, I do. I will catch up more another time; life is especially busy right now.
May all people be at ease and happy and abundantly fulfilled!
The energy has been building and tomorrow (Friday 29th of June), there’s a release:
Sun in Cancer square Uranus in Aries (one’s primary self as it relates to emotion, and/or home/family b/c Sun is in Cancer and some element of rebellion or surprise in regard to that as it applies to FREEDOM since Uranus is in freedom loving and impulsive Aries! ALSO…
Sun in Cancer opposes Pluto in Cap … so again themes of family which is a cancer quality and “getting real” which is a Capricorn quality. Could play out in various ways but that’s a primary on that I intuitively feel. ALSO…
Mercury in Leo sextile’s Jupiter in Gemini…. here we see large issues since Jupiter intensifies and increases anything it touches and it’s touching GEMINI and so the mouth can get really big tomorrow… LOL… i mean it is going to be easy to get it out and say what you want to say since Jupiter in Gemini makes an exciting, stimulating sextile aspect to the planet that actually rules Gemini: MERCURY! And that Mercury is in ‘”what about me?” Leo’. Sometimes it’s really better than OK to be a little selfish and to speak up–especially if you’re one who puts their own needs always to the back being the sacrificial lamb! It’ll be easy to speak up tomorrow and Jupiter will stimulate that!
